OBLIVIOUS was a surprisingly cool delight on a hot summer day - I hope the creators find a way to expand this into something longer - i can imagine this having a good run somewhere. The video component is very high quality, and both the premise/story and the look are creatively done. (and, as someone who does NOT like to participate, i love that you check off a box on the 'immigration' form before you enter indicating your willingness to be selected.)... full review

This wasn’t initially one of our picks top picks, although it was on my radar. It was one of those “well this seems cool, I’ll try and see if I can fit it in”. I am SO glad I did! I saw the poster in the window of a venue where I was seeing another piece. I looked up some reviews and the ones I read seemed…negative, but what they said that was negative was what made me really excited to see this. After seeing this show, I can understand why there are negative reviews. I picture those patrons being older, hating video games (and fun), and being more of a traditional theatre person, which is fine, but this show is not for them. I had no idea what to expect coming to this and I was surprised in the best possible way. The whole company put up a short but very well crafted piece. This work definitely deserves a life after the Fringe. ... full review

I'm just discovering the world of computer games. So far I don't really like shooters or strategy games. I like something more simple, kind of like the mahjong game on Mahjongg Mentor . I think I played this game once before a long time ago, but I found it challenging at the time. I couldn't even get through the game in 20 minutes, and now it takes me a minute. Do you know this game? How fast do you get through the levels? ... full review

"Oblivious" offers a unique blend of video game mechanics and live theatre, engaging the audience in shaping the story within a dystopian setting. The theme of challenging a fascistic government resonates with the concept of rice purity, prompting participants to consider moral choices and values in the face of oppression.... full review
