In a land torn by civil war, Lila is taking care of a retired doctor, until rebels take over the house that used to be a hospital.
A tale of love vs. war, the right to bodily integrity for all beings and the process of individuation through a psychedelic journey and the power of nature.
An original new play – almost ten years in the making – written, directed, produced by and starring Jola Cora, a Swiss and Polish citizen who moved to L.A. a year ago, after she won the green card, but is still very attached to her hometowns Warsaw and Geneva.
The play is a provocative coming of age story about a girl whose beliefs about love, war, politics and religion are challenged and features original paintings created especially for the play by Polish artist Sylwia Ewa Paszko and visual & audio effects by Angeleno: Lee Iovino.
Inspired by true events and by Vladimir Propp’s research on the fairy tale.
