I loved this show! Super clever writing that was funny, current, and honest. The strong performances by the entire ensemble helped elevate it, and I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. Definitely a must see at the fringe!... full review

"Smile Baby" is a play dealing with real issues in a poignant, funny way. And while you leave thinking about the objectification women deal with day-in and day-out, you don't leave depressed, or downtrodden. The show moves fluidly between the through story of shy Beth (Jessica DeBruin) and brave Edie (Sonia Jackson) dealing with cat calls while waiting for the bus and vignettes of how vulgar sexual harassment is. Sonia Jackson gives an outstanding performance, in an all around fabulous cast. All the women moved fluidly from character to character. This is a strong, entertaining and thought provoking play!... full review

What an amazing show full of powerhouse intersectional women! What better way to address such a prevalent topic and complex epidemic through comedy and Caberet like sketches. The writing and timing was terrific and only backed up by the spot on acting and physical performance that can only come from those who truly understand the meaning of what they are doing because they experience it on a daily basis. Well done! More of this everywhere! ... full review

Everyone should go see this play. So well written, acted, and directed! All the technical aspects really came together to help tell this story. I loved the use of music, the simple staging, and the costume pieces. The actors did a wonderful job portraying multiple, distinct characters and I was never confused about which story I was watching as each vignette unfolded. What a great use of comedy to tackle a sensitive and important issue.... full review

Utterly BRILLIANT: an absolute must see for Fringe 2015. While it's hard to imagine that a show dealing with the subject of street harassment would be a good time, this show achieves exactly that, with remarkable finesse. It tackles the issue from multiple angles in a way that is extremely relatable, often poignant, but at the same time immensely entertaining, often laugh-out-loud funny, and over the top absurd, exactly the kind of treatment this absurd social phenomenon deserves. The cast is excellent, each bringing their unique voice and style to this true ensemble piece. It was well-paced and well balanced, and the 50 minutes soared by and left me wishing there were more. It's truly refreshing to see a strong female cast dealing with fema... full review

I laughed so hard I cried - literally, I laughed so hard I cried. By far the best show I've seen this year. It is awesome that a team of fierce women put this show together. The cast is great, I especially enjoyed Madison Shepard's portrayal of what some young men are like these days - spot on.... full review

Hilarious!! Something that all women can relate to. Thank the good Lord that there are women out there with the talent to put together such a brilliant bird's eye look into what women have had to deal with since the beginning of fucking time. Cheers to you ladies and your great work!!... full review
