Marry Me A Little

I went to see the Saturday Show on 6/26. I was a great way to spend the afternoon. The narrative elements of show were strong, as were the performances of the actors and the pianist. The Good People at Good People have done it again! Janet Miller has done a fantastic job bringing this medley of Sondheim's misfit musical selections to life! Jessie Withers & David Laffey's gorgeous vocals are accompanied by Corey Hirsch's on-point piano. The rest of the production is delightfully simple, providing the perfect unobtrusive backdrop. We are long time Sondheim fans and have seen many productions of "Marry Me a Little" over the years. We almost didn't attend your play for that reason, but we're were SO glad we made it. In other productions of it, the voices are usually fairly good, and in your production the voices were certainly VERY good, but what made your "Marry Me a Little" head and shoulders above every other performance was the expressiveness when they sang, and the staging. Kudos to your director and cast. It was a stellar show!... full review
