This show is unstoppable. It is impossible to get bored when a show is as carefully crafted and fine tuned as The Halfwits Last Hurrah. Embracing the spirit of play, with a nice little dose of heart, this show leaves you ticklish with its endless physical gags, lyrical wit and a through line that takes you out of the Theater Asylum and right into Butterbean's wondrous show of misfits. Fun. Just some good old fun.... full review

Hurrah for the Half Wits! Charming, clever bauble of a play concerning an overinflated (and under-prepared) ring master and his menagerie of "acts" -all seemingly JUST released from some sort of rescue mission, asylum or vaguely european circus. Production features lots classic clown humor, with a storyline driven by a dastardly Texan villian thrown in for good measure (but no good.) It is obvious these folks know their craft, and rejoice in it. Sophisticated and yet simple, this show will enjoyed by all. ... full review

From the time you are standing in line waiting to enter the theater, to the second you leave the show has already begun. Using clown techniques the ensemble draws the audience in for hilarious highs and heart stopping lows. This show has it all: comedy, tragedy, songs, aerobatics, and much much more. This show is spectacular, wonderful, and hilarious! The play begins right when you take your seats, and the laughs keep coming. The Halfwits are a bizarre collection of charm and candor and you will root for them (especially Butterbeans and Nimrod) the whole show. Let's be honest, we all wish to join the Halfwits. This is going to be a sell out show, and only 5 more performances! Do it now! Why are you reading this? Get to the checkout!... full review
