My overall impression

inside the mind of me was definitely an interesting show. Somebody that I was with related it to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, mostly in regards to how the timeline works. The general story is that there is a guy, named Me, who is in a coma trying to decide if he should wake up or move on. The story jumps back in time to different parts of his childhood as well as some incidents right before his suicide attempt (which caused his coma). All parts are expertly played, most notably the roles of Angel, Circus, and Me, Who made it feel like these parts were written directly for them. Although there is a lot of jumping in the timeline, all of the lighting helps flow seamlessly from one point in time to the next. I never had any issues trying to figure out when this particular scene was happening on the timeline – it was clear.

I highly recommend going to see the show. The performances are some of the best I’ve seen and the story is unique and intriguing.
