My overall impression
There are a lot of things that could be said about this play.
My main regret is that I didn’t watch it sooner so I could have shown this off to more people.
If my review helps one person decide to see this then I’ve done a service to the art scene.
This show deserves to be watched.
The whole cast performs perfectly, owning and mastering their characters. If I had to chose who the best performance was, I’d have to say it was Eric Anthony as Chris.
His characters motivations where clear. When the show began, it felt like his character would have been cliché or stereotypical. However, due to the amount of energy and passion he delivered to the role I felt nothing be sincerity in his delivery.
While Chris sold his character deftly to the crowd, Graydon Schlicter stole the show. He was a unique presentation with passion, humor, and insanity. It was all we could talk about all night on the way home.
The whole piece is perfect and if you have the time, please watch the next performance. If you miss it, you will regret it.
