“Inside The Mind Of Me” feels so real and honest. The play is haunting, seductive with just a touch of fantasy. All around this is a pretty solid piece of theatre that really attempts to hit on some heavy themes. There are some really stunning projections that perfectly coincide with the events that are happening onstage. At times, the events become a little hazy, but you pick up right back into it. The fight choreography actually terrified me… in that it didn’t even look like choreography.. it actually sounded and looked like punching and pushing. Heavy, man. These actors totally trust and are committed to each other and it’s certainly entertaining for the audience. I have to admit. It’s a weird play. It’s pretty dramatic with hardy any comedic relief to catch a breath… but geez. I don’t know.. I like stuff that’s funny most of the time. I took a chance on it and it payed off. Now go see it. P.S. Had to edit this and add—-Marlies Bell. My God, can that woman act. Yes. Yes she can.
