This is a courageous, funny and moving piece beautifully acted by Leigh Curran and directed with integrity and an eye toward bringing the audience ever closer to the heart of the matter. In this case, the heart is an unflinching examination of the performer's past decisions and their consequences. It manages to be both about her in a very personal and specific way and also about all of us and challenges us all to think about the decisions we in our own lives and how they have made us who we are. It feels active, not just reflective, and a journey well worth any audience taking. Kate Fuglei... full review

This was such a brave and honest performance. Leigh unfolded her truly heartfelt confessional within a well crafted play, stepping nimbly between characters that at once inspired empathy and gave counterpoint to her obstinate main character. A thrill ran up my spine when I realized that I recognized Leigh from the depths of my childhood television watching. Profound and self deprecating, confused, furious and poignant, this story was so theatrically engaging. I wish there were many more like it.... full review

Leigh Curran is an brilliant writer and actor. She approaches her story with an unexpected and unique point-of-view. Completely unsentimental, but very moving, she offers you the gift of sharing her story, and you are better for it. ... full review

I came, I saw, she conquered. It's no small feat to hold an audience's attention for 90 minutes, but wonderful writing and brilliant acting can make that happen. This show was especially relevant to me because we are both baby boomers who decided not to have children and had to deal with the ramifications of that choice. I applaud her artistic bravery, particularly at this time in our nation's history when women's rights to reproductive choice are being severely challenged. I highly recommend this show. Let Leigh take you through the Looking Glass. You'll be delighted with what you find on the other side. ... full review

One of the bravest pieces of theatre art I have encountered and mesmerizingly personal. I felt so connected to the creator/writer/actor, to the person up there whose life was being laid out for us to analysis as she honestly assesses her greatest failures and ultimately her greatest strength. It was a poignant and affecting 95 minutes that inspired me to attempt to get deeper in touch with my own life's story, to acknowledge the "writing" I haven't done, which is to say the paths I so far have chosen to avoid taking, and to pay tribute to the ones I have. I loved this play because it so beautifully informed me of yet another level of the magic that can be conjured by the art of theatre.... full review

This is a very brave, inventive, artistic rendering of Leigh Curran's fascinating life in New York City and Los Angeles. Conversing with two other main characters of her own invention that she confesses to, pleads with, mocks, and loves, Leigh opens herself up to an unusual inventory of life's highlights, challenges, disappointments.... full review
