Liz is a powerhouse and her killer voice is only aided by Clara Dykstra's ridiculous multitasking musical skills. A true delight and a show that needs to have way more than one performance left. I can't believe there are only three performances of this GEM of a show! I felt like a real patron of Lydia Trueblood's Santa Fe night spot as Lydia told her colorful tale, and Liz Eldridge's total transformation into Lydia is something to behold--and hear! Darkly hilarious, deeply felt, beautifully played. Clara Dykstra could not have been more perfect as Annabelle, Lydia's mute (but angelically-singing, sailor-swearing, musically-inclined) daughter. Her quiet sweetness reminded me of Carrie a bit (without the telepathic murder... she leaves the blood-letting to her mother ;) ). Do. Not. Miss. This. Show. Hopefully it gets extended, I would gladly pay the big bucks for an evening with Lydia and Annabelle!... full review
