I am still crying from this show! June Carryl has given one of the single most powerful performances and pieces of writing that I have seen at this year's Hollywood fringe Festival, hands down. How Writing is layered and sophisticated but bursting with honesty. June is a wordsmith interlacing bold cultural ideas and profound inner conflicts with her fine needle of immaculate dialogue and colorful spectrum of poetic observations. As a performer, not only does she demonstrate full mastery of her character who is not some cliché but some three-dimensional statue she's chiseled but the show culminates so beautifully with a level of hearts that one rarely sees.
