My overall impression
Such a fantastic combo of solo shows!! Touching on wonderfully personal stories, each were able to make their experiences relatable, while still giving hilarious details that could only have been lived. Although the two have very different stories (Julie working as a mascot trying to achieve a more perfect smile, and the Amy looking for that perfect slow dance in a world obsessed with marriage) they had such wonderfully cohesive pieces. They are funny, heartwarming, and so relatable you’ll fall in love with the two of them. Wonderful performances and beautifully written. Definitely a must see.
