Owen, a pragmatic middle aged man, has barricaded himself in his Chicago apartment. No one comes in and he never goes out. Everyday is basically the same. After Toby, his boisterous new female neighbor moves in across the hall, Owens’ routine is harshly disrupted. With a sense of discovery and curiosity, the neighbor finds her way into his sacred safe space. Eventually through her stories of being rebellious and with her optimistic attitude, Owen allows her in. Slowly, an unexpected friendship develops. But what happens when all the walls come down and the real truth comes out? Who will end up saving who?
