Rati is AWESOME! Keeping the audience entertained through out a solo show is always a challenge. Rati Gupta had the entire audience laughing, empathizing, commiserating and joyously reliving their own high school roller coaster for the full 55 min. We were engaged invested and thrilled to be along for the ride. Rati is real and funny....and real funny. The girl has grit, spunk, perfect comedic timing and the moves to back it all up. ... full review

Truthful, sad, happy, hopeful, realistic! A fun show that comes alive because Rati creates the story before our eyes. Incredibly talented and hilarious actor that sparks memories in all of us of a more complicated time of our lives. Left me wanting to hear more of the story! ... full review

This show creatively went through high school in one girl's point of view. I really liked that she showed how the movies and television shows she watched truly influenced her views on high school and how she weighed the importance of popularity. It was a hilarious and vulnerable show that was intelligently written and cleverly paired with media that allowed the audience to re-watch classic romantic comedies through the eyes of our new friend. Thanks!... full review

Rati is very talented, and the show was a lot of fun. She has a great sense of who she is and a fantastic sense of humor about that. Smart writing. I also loved the videos. That said, she seems more comfortable on camera than delivering her lines to a live audience. Her eye-line seemed unsure, and the show got very screechy at points. Which was unfortunate, since the good parts were very good. ... full review

Great show! Rati's greatest strength is her honesty. Although the comedy and reference level were crafted with precision, her ability to let people laugh at her and themselves greatly benefits from her light and airy delivery, even in the most real/heartbreaking moments. Go see it!... full review

Armed with my NATSS slap bracelet, I entered this show with much anticipation. Like Craig Shaynak with his I Am Google show, Rati was a marketing genius, spending many hours networking with other Fringe participants as well as walking among the audiences of Preview Week. Her work paid off with a pair of sold out shows to start her run. Speaking of the show, it was a hoot. I laughed to hide the tears as she hit home run after home run on the things most of us worried about in high school - popularity, finding a boy/girl friend, etc. This show is a real treat and will make you feel better about yourself. Come and laugh out loud with Rati - you'll be glad you did! ... full review

Rati's one woman show has plenty of laugh-out-loud humor, but combines it with real complexity of character and emotion and expert storytelling to create a really memorable theatrical experience.... full review

A great show for theatre and non-theatre lovers! Rati's lovable essence graced the stage with clever writing, well timed comedic delivery, and a lot of heart! I think this show particularly hits home for any female child of the 80s who went to high school in the late 90s through the beginning of the turn on the century. I graduated in 2002, and I could relate to the movies/TV Rati juxtaposes with her high school experience. However, this is not just a chic flick, nor time specific-- anyone who went to high school can relate to the awkward transitional moments Rati experienced with social status, love, friendship, parents, and life. My two guy friends- one 26 and one 35 both loved this show- and neither of them knew who Clarissa was o... full review
