Altman has created a beautiful piece of theater and has adapted it for the Fringe with the help of director Joshua Fardon, effectively turning a two-hour musical into a one-hour revue. In addition, Altman is quite effective as William Parke, the eccentric inventor of the time machine.
The assembled cast is quite remarkable, creating a true ensemble. However, several of them did stand out in their performance. Besides Altman, I was most impressed with two of the Eloi, Tara Price and Tara Raucci, as well as Argonauts/Morlocks James Hanna and Jonathan Grey.
Although this is a workshop, which is getting better with every run, I have no trouble believing that it will make an incredible musical when all the parts get added back in.
