Exceptional. I wanted more, and yet felt satisfied with where the story was left as well. This story is a beautiful juxtaposition of life as art as life, and how the meaning we find (and leave) in any given situation; the things on which we choose to focus or find important. Very very entertaining, heartfelt, and well put together. It's hard to bring an audience into a scene with just two chairs, a table, and a black backdrop, but this talented cast and clever writing, as well as unique use of the theatre space created a fun, impactful atmosphere that left me very satisfied. An engaging piece about a man attempting to deal with his past relationship by attending a type of drama therapy. The story is both touching and very funny, often catching you by surprise. Expertly acted by the cast, they pull you in to their characters’ emotionally damaged worlds and then effortlessly switch gears, hitting laugh lines with ease. A unique and cleverly written play, smartly directed by Scott Marden. I highly recommend it. ... full review

Absolutely tremendous. Writer Josh Morrison's script is funny, clever (in the good way), and, above all, beautifully smart; it sheds a winking light on what we as "theater folk" take seriously (or not), all boiling down to what actually affects us (or doesn't) in our "real lives." Please do not consider my overuse of quotation marks and parentheses as any indicator of the sincerity of the show; director Scott Marden does a phenomenal job of making every moment poignant, real, and relatable, and the cast does the same. Please take this vague review as an exercise in not spoiling the plot and as an urgent direction to GO NOW. One show left. See it. Such a satisfying show I had not seen in ages.... full review

Clever, smart, funny, entertaining, and wholly satisfying. Everything I want from any kind storytelling. Especially good if you're a fan of theater (which you are, because you're reading this!). This is right up your alley, I assure you. A self-aware story told by very talented people. It won't disappoint, simple as that.... full review

The thing I most admire about this show is the process around it; I love the ambitious way this group decided to develop a show from scratch after they booked the space for the Fringe. The fact that the show happened at all is impressive, much less that it manages to be as clever, inventive and unusual as it is. I enjoyed the actors throughout, but my favorite moments were actually the charming book-ending monologues from the stage manager, complete with light cues.... full review
