One of the best solo shows I have seen, a Hollywood Fringe favorite, both profound and hilarious, I loved all of the movement and music and voice recordings of the other characters. Also, Samantha enchantingly played the sound bath bowls, a wondrous way to enter her show.... full review

My mission was to support an artist, but I walked away from this show a born again carpenter with a newfound appreciation for both clean water and the arts. Absolutely loved it! My friends and I found ourselves quoting the hilarious jokes in the days after. Very happy to say that I flew in to share in this wonderful story, painted so creatively for the audience to feel engaged, fascinated, and involved, like we were part of the memory. Highly recommend!... full review

An impressive solo show filled to the brim with humor, pathos, and history (both personal and American), Missions is not to be missed! Samantha Bowling shines as she describes her experience as a 14-year-old on a mission trip to West Virginia. Along the way, the audience assists in performing a rainstorm, learns where they're really from, and gains a brilliant mind's perspective on culture, homecoming, growing up, coming out, God, and America. All in just one hour (with bubbles and very pleasant smells wafting through the air)!... full review

Superb artistry. Super smart writing. Non stop river of laughter and light bulbs goin’ off! Intelligent. Human. HONEST. Easy, effortless acting. I was dazzled by the obvious truth that Samantha Bowling has found why she’s on the planet. Go, lady! Go like hell!... full review

Sam has put together an incredible tour de force full of laughter, heart, and pain that mindfully carries you through not only the experience of living with intergenerational trauma personally, but also as a national and global community. It becomes a multi sensory experience of true intergenerational HEALING.... full review

Sam is a captivating story-teller who fully transports the audience in a warm, sensory, loving reflection on sexuality, colonization, and where we're from. As deeply devastating as the story of our land's original caretakers is, Sam's spirit shines a bright optimism that we can learn and be better. There's a power to her presence onstage that will make you comfortable as you stare at uncomfortable truths.... full review
