Teresa Tottle has always been perfectly pleasant. A rule follower. A good friend. Completely balanced. But when Teresa’s mother accidentally drops the much delayed news that Teresa was supposed to be a twin, her bubble of positivity falters.

Don’t worry, honey, I’m sure you didn’t MEAN to absorb her.

In an outlandish effort to dismiss her guilt, Teresa attempts to revitalize a childhood dream she never stopped thinking about – The Iditarod. America’s great, tortuous dog sledding race. This big, dumb, dark comedy mixes clown, improv, and spectacle to make us question what it means to carry sincere guilt. Written by, directed by, and starring Maria Gnoza.

Maria Gnoza is a writer, comedian, and performer based in Los Angeles. In 2023, Maria sold out the Santa Monica Playhouse Mainstage with her one-woman show, IN THE AISLE. She completed her first solo show, KILLING ROAST BEEF, in 2020.
