There are some comedy shows that are just good, dumb fun. This is not one of those shows. It will make you laugh, yes, but will also challenge you to laugh in the face of some really dark shit. Aaron Foster effortlessly leads the audience through his life story, the ups, the downs, the good and the bad, all with a wry sense of humor. You come away not feeling like you've watched a show; more like you have spent an hour with a new friend at the corner bar as he pours his heart and deepest secrets out. And you may just come away from that hour with a different perspective on life, and feeling a bond to the guy. And that is ... full review

This show is subversively hilarious, laugh out loud gallows humor. I laughed, gasped, and recognized myself and people I knew. ... full review

Aaron creates comedy from such tragedy. The venerability he displays through his storytelling makes you think and feel so many things. An impactful hour of comedy. The introspection of his life provides us an opportunity to reevaluate everything from our mental health to our aspirations and mistakes. So personal yet very universal. ... full review

As I drove my friend home from Aaron’s show we had a lot to say about what we just saw, and we said a lot but we were both almost speechless. That show rocked us. The following morning my friend texted me, “That one man show was so powerful; it will stay with me for a long time.”... full review

The show is full of intensity and pretty sad stories, but in a way that you don't feel sorry for him. It's full of hope and overcoming. When it comes to standup, he had the ideal of a laugh every 20 seconds all while telling a real life story of hard times. It was the best of both worlds of a solid story of a one man show, with the laughs of standup.... full review
