Brianna, 30, is a cynical recovering alcoholic and struggling artist, who wants nothing to do with her overbearing mom Carrie. Meanwhile, Carrie, mid-sixties, is a social butterfly who listens to Christian pop music and flirts with anything under the age of twenty five, and desperately seeks a relationship with her daughter.
When Brianna gets asked to participate in an art show out of state and runs out of options of how to get there due to her lack of funds and DUI, she has no choice but to ask her mother for a ride.
What starts out as a last resort to get her from point A to point B turns out to be a journey of self discovery and forgiveness… with some wacky ups and downs in between.
