I didn't know what to expect going in, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've seen this director's work before and he's always solid, but this was a different kind of special from their usual stuff. It felt like I watched a solid, little indie film. I could really picture where she was and what she was doing, whom she was with. I felt for her and her journey. It had elements of The Comeback where you feel for this person but shake your head at them as well.... full review

Chris has this special kind of comedic timing where you wonder why she isn't a sitcom star yet. This piece is not only hilarious, nostalgic and relatable... but it's also pretty heartbreaking at times. She holds you in the palm of her hand from her first words which happen on an abrupt LIGHTS UP, informing you that - oh this is gonna be great. FIVE STARS.... full review
