Oh WOW! I just loved this show so much and am now such a fan of all involved. This ensemble of actors- Dawn Alden, Whit Spurgeon, Leilani Marie Smith and Brendan Weinhold - play so beautifully together, really nuanced, heart-felt, fun and imaginative performances all around. At times I laughed out loud and at others I had goosebumps. All four short plays are super strong writing-wise as well, and I marveled at Tim J. Turning beloved childhood cartoons into full breathing human characters must not have been an easy task but in Absolutely Filthy playwright Brendan Hunt, aided with a playful and committed cast, did exactly that. Brendan also stars at "the Mess" or Pig-Pen, and as such he is riveting. His nuanced performance of a man riddled with self-doubt and guilt, his biting and hilarious retorts, as well as his palpable need for the human connection he once shared are engrossing and to top it off he hula-hoo... full review

What a fun show! I admit I am the perfect demographic as a child of the 90's but the universal struggle of youth and the nuances of high school are accessible to most if not all. I especially enjoyed the filmed scenes used as transitions. They were hilarious, beautifully shot and edited, I could watch a whole series of Rati traipsing through the awkward world of high school and be happy 'bout it. No Static at All is incredibly well written, thoroughly engaging and thought provoking. I laughed, I pondered life, I acquired a new appreciation for Steely Dan, but most importantly I wish the show lasted twice as long, I loved the storytelling that much.
