This Vicious Minute

Beyond being an engrossing "theatrical" solo show, Ben Moroski's piece is plain old excellent storytelling. His command of the stage--and our attention--is remarkable, not just because of the subject matter, but because of his laser-focused stage presence. Many autobiographical solo pieces get mired in too much detail--people feel the need to relate every single action and event of their lives down to the elements that are not relevant to their main story. But Moroski's honed script superbly... full review

Joy Nash is appealing in this cute story of her trip to Europe in which she falls for a handsome young man of questionable work ethics. While the script and direction are at times unfocused and confusing, Joy deftly rises above these distractions and wins us over through her solid acting and overall charm. Can't wait to see her on stage again!... full review

The Sex Life of Achilles

David LeBarron has crafted an engrossing, funny, and intelligent script that takes us through the life and times of Achilles. While densely packed full of stories of the great warrior, director Gordon Vandenberg's artful staging of the piece keeps us up to speed. Well crafted performances by LeBarron, Shanna Beauchamp and Rebecca Norris add to the overall charm and intrigue of the production. ... full review
