Show Secures Extended Run Performances on August 10 & 25, 2012
Los Angeles, CA – Writer/performer TIFFANY ANNE PRICE proved to be a Fringe-favorite earning the coveted ‘BEST OF FRINGE’ title at the recent Hollywood Fringe Festival for her hilarious one-woman comedic show “CONFESSIONS OF A CAT LADY.” The show has been selected for an extended Fringe Fest run on August 10th & 25th, 2012 at Theatre Asylum Lab in Los Angeles.
“Confessions” is an intimate look at one artist’s lifelong battle with jealousy and the super-juicy secrets that make her who she is. The physical and energetic autobiographical 60-minute show deemed “honest and heart-felt,” revolves around embarrassingly juicy confessions and gut busting stories everyone can relate to. Price weaves together a mash-up of topics and occasional musical moments, dishing about jealousy, cats, relationships, more cats, bathroom phobia, and other crazy side bars thrown in for additional humiliation.
Price is thrilled her show, directed by fellow solo show artist Kimleigh Smith, was tapped with the ‘Best Of’ honor, commenting “I was so ecstatic to learn of my show’s nomination in the festival as BEST ONE PERSON SHOW and now to get an extension as BEST OF FRINGE….oh man, I’m loving every minute!”

Price has a background that includes training at some of Los Angeles’s most esteemed comedy venues including iO West, UCB, Groundlings, and a year-long stint doing standup at the Comedy Store, so it’s no surprise that this funny lady is making people laugh. Price has also been making a name for herself on-screen starring in the indie film “Breast Picture,” currently available via Netflix, and the 11-episode webseries “Misery Loves Company,” in which she also co-wrote and produced.
Born and raised in the Phoenix, Arizona area, Price earned her B.A. from ASU West, graduating Summa cum Laude. Before heading to Hollywood, Price worked at the Phoenix Zoo, where she fell in love with the animals, including her husband.
Up next, Price is scheduled to star in a new web series shooting this summer that she also co-wrote called CRAFT LADIES.
