Life, The Universe and Chris McGowan

view project

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 9th, 2012. Chris McGowan is performing his new solo show, “Life, The Universe and Chris McGowan” at the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival. The 42-minute long solo show, directed and produced by Carla Snowden, examines what Chris would do if he could travel through space and time to fix his past mistakes and regrets. He draws on classic science fiction movies and TV shows as well as Discovery Channel documentaries to plan out his perfect life.

“Life, The Universe and Chris McGowan” pays homage to Chris’s nerdy obsessions, from Back to the Future, to Doctor Who and authors such as Douglas Adams. The show highlights Chris’s vulnerabilities, embarrassing moments and unique view on the world and his own life.
