These are the reverse of ghost stories. The intimate experiences are fascinating and pull you in, but instead of being scared out of your wits, these stories pierce your heart with feelings of love and wisdom.

It all takes place in the ensemble piece, “You” at the Hollywood Fringe Festival beginning Saturday, June 4 at 4pm. Thirteen actor/writers communicate to an audience member as if to someone who changed their lives. As you listen, you ride the ups and downs of the experiences and begin to understand why they are so meaningful.

It makes you want to put down the cell phones and tell someone why you care.

The brainchild of directors Megan Foley and Chuck Marra of Foley Marra Casting, the project emerged as they coached members of their monthly master class for actors.

Five performances will be performed at The Other Space Theatre, 916 N. Formosa, June 4- 25. Tickets are $10.
