Academy Award-nominated, Golden Globe Winner Bruce Davison joins Grey Ensemble Theatre’s FUCK MY LIFE at Hollywood Fringe Festival

LOS ANGELES (May 16, 2016) – Critically acclaimed actor Bruce Davison joins the cast of FUCK MY LIFE, Grey Ensemble Theatre’s innaugral production at this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival in a pre-recorded cameo as “The Interviewer”. Mr. Davison’s body of work includes the first two X-Men films directed by Bryan Singer as “Senator Kelly”, the TV series Harry & The Hendersons, the independent film It’s My Party, amongst numerous stage and Broadway credits. Mr. Davison is probably best known for the role of “David” in Longtime Companion, which earned him a Golden Globe for “Best Supporting Actor” and an Academy Award nomination in the same category. Mr. Davison’s upcoming projects include the film Corbin Nash (co-starring Malcom McDowell and Corey Feldman, produced by FUCK MY LIFE director Carmen Aiello) and Get A Job, starring Anna Kendrick, Miles Teller, Marcia Gay Harden, Alison Brie, and Bryan Cranston.

“The role of ‘The Interviewer’ is a crucial one,” notes playwright and GET Artistic Director Danny Bernardo. "With the play’s focus in how the millennial generation comes of age in the digital era, it is paramount to juxtapose that with the perspective of the Baby Boomer generation. To have an actor of Mr. Davison’s caliber take that on is an absolute dream come true.»

Mr. Davison joins a cast that includes GET founding members Taylor Bibat and Sara Gorsky with George Infantado, Jason Markoff, Adrian Snow, and Coy Wentworth. Production team members added at this time include Julian Beeston (Deadpool, Star Trek: Into Darkness) as the Sound Designer for Mr. Davison’s cameo and Delia Baseman (The Hypocrites’ Pirates of Penzance) as Costume Coordinator.

FUCK MY LIFE follows a diverse group of millennials as they navigate their lives on-and-offline. Between shots of Jameson and messy hookups their online antics explode into IRL problems. FUCK MY LIFE is equal parts commentary/love letter for the millennial generation coming of age in the digital era. FUCK MY LIFE will play five performances at The Actors Company, 916 N. Formosa Ave, Los Angeles, as part of this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival. The performances will be June 11 at 10:30pm, June 12 at 3pm, June 18 at 9pm, June 26 at 2pm.
