Charles Marina makes his Hollywood Fringe debut with a unique one-man show where he revisits his “comical” life events on his thirty third birthday.

Surviving three wars in the Middle East, losing his virginity in a brothel, courtesy of his uncle Fady! to finally moving to Los Angeles where he perpetually try to balance sex, Catholic guilt, family and auditions. Basically his own internal war.

Charles is thrilled to make his Hollywood Fringe debut with this one-man show running through June at select times at Theatre Asylum.

“When I was a kid I wanted to be a priest, florist, thief, astronaut… I just wanted to be an actor. Imagination was the only activity during war, it was fun and safe,” Marina said. “Even though I lived during the war but I always saw life through comedy goggles. War comes with rules either you die or you live, but when you have a internal war you are alive but dead from inside and that’s the problem. You can always find a way to laugh”

Marina, an LA based actor and writer since 2006 performs stand up all over town. Just finished shooting the feature film “The Sex Addict” and he is in the middle of pre-production for his feature film “Riding Back The Past”

“I am excited and grateful about this show” Marina said. “Fringe is such an incredible melting pot where you share your talent and passion with other talented artists. It’s a privilege to be part of this incredible event."
