FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOS ANGELES – TwoBoatsWaWa is proud to make its Hollywood Fringe Festival producing debut with The Legend of Bobby Darin: An Unauthorized Autobiography. This world premiere, one-person show is directed by Miles Chapman and written and performed by Cliff Todd.

Bobby Darin was an award winning singer and actor who was also one of the highest paid performers of his day. His most popular songs, Splish Splash and Mack The Knife, have secured a place in music history and pop culture. But Bobby’s name is rarely spoken of. The Legend of Bobby Darin gives Bobby (as played by Cliff Todd) a chance to explain through stories and song why his life is important and why he believes he should be remembered.

The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access, community-derived event celebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community.

The Legend of Bobby Darin begins June 5 and runs through June 27 at Theatre Asylum (Asylum Lab) in Hollywood. Running time is 60 minutes with no intermission.
