I Can Hear You...But I'm Not Listening

view project

It was announced on May 30, 2014 that Ms. Jasper is one of the Final 30 for the 2014 Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival for her 10-minute play “et•y•mol•o•gy”. The play will be presented during the festival Aug. 4-10 in New York City.

You can see Jennifer Jasper in her hilarious, twisted and revealing one-woman show “I Can Hear You…But I’m Not Listening” June 12-16 at Theatre of Note as part of the 2014 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Jasper takes you along as she shares her experiences being the middle daughter in a family of five girls with colorful (and off-color) stories. From her early efforts at speech therapy to her Laura Ingalls Wilder obsession to her discovery of her grandfather’s “interesting” hobby, Jasper’s expert comic skills and her gift for wringing laughs from the dark and uncomfortable moments of growing up make each performance unique and revealing.
