For the first time at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Misery Loves Co. presents
Richard Tanner’s small PARTS
Directed By Jim Fall
SIX SHOWS ONLY!
June 10th – June 28th

Los Angeles, CA (May 13, 2014) – Actor/writer Richard Tanner brings his acclaimed solo show, small PARTS, to this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival – for the first time.

Part cautionary tale, part irreverent skewering of Show Business (and one-man shows), this uproarious multi-media romp chronicles the ins, outs, highs, lows and mind-bogglingly absurdist vagaries of Tanner’s twenty-plus years as a working actor in the trenches. Jim Fall (Trick, The Lizzie McGuire Movie) directs the proceedings, which include animation, audience interaction, and an arsenal of audio-visual surprises.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll thoroughly enjoy the ride. As critic Patricia Danaher of The Daily Mail writes, "Richard’s unstoppable energy and brio make his one man show truly one of a kind. With exquisite skill and comic timing, he tells the story of his struggles in the world of entertainment with hilarity and heart.”
The show plays at the Lounge Theatre (6201 Santa Monica Blvd. Hollywood, 90038) with a “pay-what-you-can” preview June 10th at 8pm. It will play June 13th at 10pm, June 21st at 8 pm, June 22 at 6 pm, June 27th at 10 pm and June 28th at 2 pm. Running time is 70 minutes, and tickets are $11.99 and can be purchased at http://hff14.org /1706. For more information go to: www.smallpartstheshow.com
