LOVE ACTUALLY ISN’T

love is kind. of stupid.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOVE ACTUALLY ISN’T – a collection of four one-act plays – is debuting at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June 2013. Written and produced by Dan Johnson, these four plays capture the hope, doubt, closure, and compromise we experience in our search for love or its closest approximation.

Whether featuring a recently divorced couple who has some unfinished bickering to attend to or two seventy-year-olds weighing the benefits of their independence against a chance at companionship, Love Actually Isn’t features love and relationships with complicated, untidy nuance.

Love Actually Isn’t is a funny, sad, clear-eyed look at love that fell apart, love that never happened, and love that’s just around every corner.

Director Paul Darrigo leads a talented cast of actors including Dan Alemshah, Shayan Ali, Lisa Arturo, Marcos Bueno Avila, Alex Diehl, Pablo Marz, Ed Shaff, Joe Souza, Craig Taggart, and Dani Thompson. Jen Olson is the assistant director.
