Kayla Engeman is a comedian, writer, & actor based in Brooklyn. In May, she will be headlining Detroit Women of Comedy Festival with her solo show I Need a Hero. This show was recently featured off broadway at United Solo Theatre Festival, Milwaukee Comedy Festival, and at Frigid NYC’s Estrogenius Festival. She has trained with Upright Citizens Brigade and director of Mike Birbiglia’s works such as Sleepwalk with Me, Seth Barrish. She has performed improv, sketch, and stand up at many indie venues and competitions in NYC. Her dreams include starring on a comedy TV show and meeting Judge Judy.
