Having lived in NYC for 12 years, I am now lucky enough to be bi-coastal, and I am currently working across theatre and film, on both coasts. I will be residing in LA for now with back-to-back plays for the rest of 2023.
I live for the theatre, and I am so glad we are back live and in person! The fringe is an amazing place to build community, share joy and find your way in a vastly huge landscape that is Los Angeles. If I am not around theatres in LA, then I am usually found roaming around the West Village in New York with a notebook, a smile, and a poem or two. Creating stories about life that will hopefully etch a mark on your soul and leave you wondering – what am I doing today? When I am on stage, I am handing you, my heart.
I have lived many lives, across many continents, from the Edinburgh Fringe to the London Fringe, to the Big Apple. And here we are today, in LA LA land, where the angels are far, and I am a long way from home. But if I never lose sight of that little girl swimming across sea, from the Highlands to NYC; carefree, full of love, and hope, then home – is always in me.
