Charity Sade (she/her)

Producer

Charity (she/her) is a stand-up comedian, writer, and instructor, and a first time producer for the Hollywood Fringe Festival!  She was born and raised in N.W. Indiana,  resided in Washington, DC for 11 years, and now calls LA home. Charity has always used humor to get through difficult moments in her life, including her breast cancer diagnosis in 2013, at the age of 27.  On stage, she takes her difficult life experiences and turns them into relatable humor. Realizing how cathartic it is to share her story and connect with others through laughter led Charity to found Coping Through Comedy in 2018. She teaches people who have been affected by cancer, or other traumas,  to use comedy and writing as a healthy coping mechanism. Outside of teaching, producing, and performing, Charity loves to hike, cook, play video games, watch scary movies and provide community mutual aid.
