Payson Whitwell
Payson Whitwell (she/her) recently graduated from Yale University where she studied Drama, Art History, and Writing. While there, Payson studied with acclaimed solo performance artist Deb Margolin who taught her the importance of a unique, nuanced voice, and pushed her to explore her individual style through creative and playwriting. Payson’s work is intimate, vulnerable, and bravely seeks to answer such questions as: Why does my mom act like that? Do I act like that? And, additionally, am I the only person in the world who cares this much about being pretty? Payson’s writing and acting is always a combination of her academic inclinations and freaky little habits — ones she cannot wait to share with anyone who will listen.
