A Boston native based in Los Angeles, Joe is particularly drawn to dark, slow-burn dramas – stories rooted in empathy for our human condition. Also a writer and producer, one of Joe’s most recent short films, MICKS OUT (w/ director + co-writer Keenan O’Reilly) about undocumented Irish immigrants in Boston, had a strong festival run including screenings at Newport FF, Mammoth FF and Flickers in Rhode Island. Joe is excited for his one-man play, BULGER BOYS, which premiers at Eastwood PAC for Hollywood Fringe.
