What I liked
I found the writing smart, poignant and profound. I was so delighted to be in a theater with these three talented L.A. poets.
What I didn't like
I would really like to see Hanna, Bill and Nichelle theatrical perform their poetry again. I think this is a fantastic vehicle for their work.
My overall impression
It was so magical to experience poetry in a theatrical format. To see the poets physically live in their poems and the quirky characters that emerged. I really enjoyed the cross-pollination of the poet’s works. A different, illuminating context transpired when they spoke another’s words. It was powerful.
