LOGLINE: Codependent best friends Lucas and Amy embark on a life-altering mission to get Patti Harrison to perform at the terrible comedy club where they are both employed, in order for Lucas to win over the heart of the bartender he’s obsessed with.
A big stupid comedy in the vein of such films as Anchorman, They Came Together, or Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar. Hopefully, this table read will teach us all a little something about life… and maybe even ourselves. Or it’ll just be a fun way to pass 2 hours.
NOTE: We do not have the real Patti Harrison for this table read. The movie’s not even about her. It’s just a title. Nobody got mad when Fall Out Boy named their song “Uma Thurman” even though Uma’s not in it at all. She doesn’t even spit one verse. So why don’t you just get out of our face about this.
