My only recommendation for an improvement is for this play to continue to be developed and provided a longer runtime, which will give us more time to sit with these nuanced characters and allow the emotional beats to resonate even more.
My overall impression
I was very surprised by how dynamic and captivating this play was. In its short runtime, it manages to provide incredibly rich characters and storylines. All 4 characters were deeply likable, and the entire audience was clearly rooting for their success throughout the performance, a testament to the strong writing and charismatic acting from the entire cast. This play was hilarious at times, particularly in the use of effective running jokes that became funnier with each repetition. There were also many sincerely heartfelt moments that provided some lovely catharsis. I highly recommend this play. It’s all that and a bag of chips!
