I enjoyed the relatable themes and true to life struggles the character’s went through. The topic, mass shootings and how they affect those involved, is a critically important issue that they handled with care and tact.
What I didn't like
While the small cast was utilized very efficiently, the writers, technicians, and actors doing excellent work with a small budget, it seemed awkward at times for the actors to perform and converse with disembodied voices.
My overall impression
It was a wonderful, small scale production. The actors were wonderful and the writers struck a balance between facing the difficult topic head on and retaining a nuanced and subtle narrative.
