What I liked
It is so very cleverly written and even though it is a solo show we were never left hanging for a moment. She imbues each and every character delightfully.
What I didn't like
I’d improve nothing – I love this theater, too. I have many happy memories there.
My overall impression
Gail’s harrowing experience in PATIENT 13 is both heartbreaking and hilarious. She recounts her story with such honesty and vulnerability that the audience can’t help but feel for her but she has the gift for finding the humor in even the darkest of situations so much so we cried with laughter. Her performance is so engaging we all felt like we were sitting down with a friend. We left the theater feeling both uplifted, inspired and CONNECTED and wanting Magic Mushrooms.
This is a phenomenal show. It deserves a tour.
