the intimate setting that allowed Gail to come remarkably close to the audience, making eye contact that made you feel as if you were conversing with a dear old friend.
What I didn't like
Nothing
My overall impression
After the show ended, my face was completely messed up. As Gail performed and her story unfolded, the authenticity, honesty, and pain, and anguish deeply moved me to the point where I couldn’t hold back my tears. Gail is a talented storyteller who can connect with the audience in the most intimate way, and I was completely immersed in her story for the entire 50 minutes, laughing and crying, unable to even flinch. The stage setup was clean and minimalistic, with no unnecessary elements, and a single chair was sufficient. It was Gail’s presence that filled the space.
