Heart of Golden Tar
A very unique experience. I greatly appreciated the use of lighting to signal the transitions of the characters personalities. It also really made the audience feel immersed in the performance. The solo actor had a very strong performance from start to end, but that performance at times felt overwhelming and made it difficult to distinguish “who” was speaking. Nonetheless, it was an interesting performance that could be elevated with some adjustments. – Yasmin
The acting was good and it was very emotional. My personal opinion on “Heart of golden tar” was that it wasn’t bad. I think that if you like emotional plays you will enjoy it. – saul
Heart of Golden Tar “Heart of Golden Tar” was a very well written play with many metaphors. In the start of the play it was a bit confusing which had caused to me to question what was going on rather than paying attention to what was going on. Overall, it did take me some time to understand what was happening. Thanks to the lighting design it had helped to have a better understanding of the play. – luz
Heart of Golden tar was a very interesting show. Once I fully understood what was happening the story was very captivating. There were several metaphors and moments that moved the story forward. I do recommend this show to people who are interested in fictional literature.- Dagmar
The Heart of Golden Tar was an interesting show due to how it was planned.The story plot was very detailed compared to other show. In addition, The transition to each act are very high quality and it shows how it doesn’t seem rushed. The acting was on point and I was focused on it every second of it. I really loved the solo play heart of golden tart. I found the connection made between what the character was enduring and their experience, to the function of a heart to be fascinating and smart. Drew Petriello was amazing and I loved this piece he created. – hayden
