What I liked

I loved the “rules” the show would make and then break, it was so clever, fun, and heartbreaking at times. I loved the voice over, lighting changes, and the deep realms drew would transport us to. It was mesmerizing!

What I didn't like

There were some moments in monologues between Sif and Randy that felt a little like they were only there to serve as exposition to the audience. When two people have been dating for years, they don’t need to remind each other of where they met, what happened between them, etc, because they lived it together, they already know. So, I was a little taken out of it when Sif and Randy would recount parts of their relationship to each other. But then I also had this thought (SPOILER ALERT) how it’s later revealed Sif is losing her memories. If there was more foreshadowing of this during the initial monologues, more motivation of “I am repeating this memory for me because I am trying to grasp on to any part of it that I have left,” I think it will work a little better! :)

My overall impression

Drew is an absolutely fantastic actor, and somehow also an incredibly gifted writer. This show felt like a poem. It was wonderfully absurdist, I almost felt like I was in a surrealist painting or a crazy board game. Do yourself a favor and go see this beautiful piece of art!!!
