What I liked

This is intimate, in your face theatre. The large spirited cast is having a blast and it’s infectious. Everyone gets a chance to shine. Underneath there are some ugly truths on display but that’s part of growing up and that’s life. It’s a compact show that packs a punch in a short amount of time.

What I didn't like

This is a minor technical issue. Sometimes the music cues were a little loud and drowned out the dialogue. A lighter touch on the dials would suffice. 😃

My overall impression

Highly energetic and hilarious one act play which literally lives up to its title. Barry Brisco’s psycho-drama comedy has a wonderfully jumbled timeline which puts the audience right in the middle of the action and keeps you guessing as to what’s going on right up to the end. An unforgettable fourth wall-breaking pause is surely the biggest laugh of the entire Fringe Festival. These are loud, in your face performances from a spirited cast exploring themes of sexuality, trust, and that awkward part of your life where a kiss could be the most dangerous contact sport of all. It’s messy and unpleasant and weird and original and you’ll watch it with your jaw kind of dangling down past your seat….and I don’t think playwright Brisco wants it any other way. It’s a terrifying joy to behold.
