What I liked

The cast is uniformly excellent. Gavin Velez is very convincing as the suspicious alcoholic husband whose premonitions about the future tend to be spot on. Verity Van Dams Valdez is entirely believable as Wendy, the wife with a job as a publicist that mixes equal parts work and pleasure.
Austin Valdez perfectly captures his role as charismatic and narcissistic musician, used to getting his way. Shannon Gibbs nails Rona, as a lost party girl used to making bad decisions in relationships and resigned to a life of “first dates and messy music.” As always playwright Nicholas Buda resists the temptation to wrap up things in a neat bow and provide easy answers.

My overall impression

Two Weeks is an intriguing character study about a marriage on the rocks and the forces that pull it further apart during a two week separation.
