The actors really get to move around this dynamic stage, and one feels that they are indeed traveling long distances. Nice lighting and blocking serves to convince and underscore the believability. Verity Van Dams offers up a particularly nuanced performance.
What I didn't like
One senses that this material could be expanded and enriched by more exploration of the relationship dynamics. Could serve well as a longer piece.
My overall impression
Overall, a compelling relationship drama with some bits of humor strewn in. Reminiscent of classic films and plays where powerhouse actors get to crack open the facade of domestic bliss to reveal the warts and all.
