What I liked

Every character is vividly distinct and colorful; it’s a big cast but no one feels redundant. There are so many “blink and you’ll miss it” character moments and jokes that kept me always trying to glance at the actors who weren’t actively talking. The timing is sharp and this piece doesn’t overstay its welcome for a second. This is a very talented team.

What I didn't like

Maybe an unfair fault of the venue, but the fact that the stage and every seat in the audience were all on the same level meant that I really struggled to see a lot of action, especially if anything was happening on the ground (which was fairly often). The blocking didn’t really seem to be adapted for this kind of space, so I know I missed a lot of good stuff just trying to crane my neck around other audience members. Also probably just missed it, but never quite understood the gymnast character’s link the the deceased.

My overall impression

This show’s so much fun. Just the kind of left field bizarre but polished thing I was hoping to see during a day of watching a ton of fringe show chosen at random. It made me want to see more shows from this group.
