What I liked
I loved the story. Each scene that was chosen elicited an emotional reaction in me. The way Laser jumped through each scene via the ‘time machine’ and seemingly improptu dialogue, was funny and present. It felt honest. I laughed. And I learned a bit as well! A fantastic show!

My overall impression
A humourous, autobiographic tale of one man’s coming of age journey. Using a time machine, the audience is transported back through time as we assess the life events of Laser through the lens of ‘the future’. A heartwarming and informative tale, this one-man-show deconstructs gender with a candidness that is disarming. Laser invites new layers of understanding to the present experience of trans men via a brief history of trans men past.
